Download Database Gate 2.0

This is the demo version (587 Kb) and has some limits for the normal use.
To get the latest version with no limit please register.

You may freely copy and distribute Database Gate Demo Version 2.0
Only the unmodified zipped (the package) file may be distributed or copied.
You are prohibited from:

  • Charging a fee or requesting donations for the package
  • Distributing/including the package in commercial products different from shareware/freeware collections
  • Modifying or reverse engineering the package
You can distribute the package in shareware/freeware collections (on web site/CD ROM)

Install

  1. Install ODBC support if not present (you can find the Data Access Pack on the Microsoft Web Site)
  2. Create DSNs (Data Source Name) for the databases you want to connect to
  3. Decompress the zipped file into a directory
  4. Run dbgate.exe

To uninstall Database Gate delete the directory where you have decompressed the zipped file.
Database Gate doesn't write registry keys or files on hard disk in system directories.

Note

There is no a setup program because Database Gate doesn't need to register itself in your system, it's completely transparent.
Just unzip and run !
