Desenzano

Desenzano is an important commercial and touristic center located in the southern side of the lake.
The mild and good climate, the luxuriant vegetation and the many proposals for the tourist make Desenzano an ideal location for relaxant and nice holidays.
From here you can move off for interesting trips around the lake, boat journey or walking tours: you can admire marvellous panorama, whiff flower parfumes, taste good and new dishes in gastronomic way.
An important historical presence in Desenzano is the Roman house of the III-IV d.C century; you can also visit the Duomo, built in 1500, where you can find paintings of Tiepolo and other important artists.
The castle, which overtops the harbour, has been built in Moyen-age, and probably put up over romanic residues.
